Choosing a protection plane

Choosing a protection plane

When choosing a security package for your vacation, take into account the price and quality of protection. Here are the fundamentals; for further details on protection programmed, see the Guest Product Disclosure Statement (Guest PDS).

About

The optional protection (protection) offered by the guest protection plans is offered by Turro Travels Mutual Limited (the Mutual). Toro Australia Pty Ltd and Toro Inc., both likened representatives of Picnic Licensing Pty Ltd (AFSL No 532540), are providing and distributing the policies on behalf of the Mutual.

Insurance is not what discretion risk protection is. Accepting or refusing a member's claim is entirely at the discretion of the Metal's Board. The Board shall use its judgement in a fair and consistent manner, giving each claim's merits, unique circumstances, and the terms and conditions outlined in the Guest PDS careful consideration.

Protection plan cost

The insurance package you select while making a reservation will determine the cost, between other things. For further details, see the Guest PDS. The more a plan costs, the fewer expenses you're liable for in the case that you damage the host's car while you're away. On the final checkout screen, we'll display the price of the plan you select as a separate line item.

You only have legal responsibility protection, which safeguards the property of third parties but includes the car you're driving and your duty to care for it while you're travelling.

Please take note that $2 of each plan's trip charge goes towards the membership subscription for liability insurance.

Advice: For piece of mind, consider getting protection as vacations booked on Turro are probably not covered by your personal insurance or credit card.
